American Star

This tutorial was written by Ivory on 10/09/08.

This tutorial uses no filters
You will need a tube of your choice.I am using the art by Keith Garvey you can purchase his tubes HERE
Font of your choice
Scrapkit I used is Written in the Stars by Queen Brat and can be purchased HERE

A mask,

I used this one(Just right click and save in your mask folder)






1.Open a new image 500x500 white

2. Open one of the papers in the kit and resize by 17%

3. Paste as a new layer on your white

4.Load mask (I have fit to canvas checked) in supplies or one of your choice and merge group

5.Add drop shadow of your choice, lower opacity to 40%

6. Open one of the doodles and resize by 40% paste as a new layer add a drop shadow and move down and to the right.

7.Duplicate the doodle layer and mirror and flip

8 Open one of the bracket pads and resize by 10% paste as new layer and free rotate 20

9.Open stars of your choice and resize by 10% and place on bracket pad where you like.

10.Either duplicate the same star as many times as you want as I did or use different stars its up to you.

11.Open a frame, and resize by 50%

12 Paste as a new layer and add a drop shadow

13 Open bow of your choice and resize by 10%

14 Paste as new layer and move to one side of the frame

15.Duplicate and move to the other side of the frame (see my tag for positioning)

16,Open your tube and resize as necessary

17.Paste as a new layer

18.Add a drop shadow, I used the eraser so her legs look like they are on the inside of the frame

19.Merge visible

20.Add copyright and watermark

21.add your name
